Karl Roy, one of the most idolised rockers and Senator Jose Roy's grandson, has passed away this morning (March 13, 2012) at 1:01 AM Manila Time. He was 43.

The reason for the Pinoy rock icon's death has not been officially announced yet, but reports have mentioned "heart attack".
Speaking of health, Karl had a history of a massive stroke in March 2008, leading to his paralysis for almost 6 months. However, he was able to survive this, and became known for his comeback as Kapatid's lead vocalist.

RIP Karl Roy. The last time i saw him performing medyo hirap na siya dahil sa condition ng katawan niya, pero todo bigay pa rin siya. Rock legend talaga.
